After earning the Nissan Altima’ s first win since 2013 in Darwin last year, Michael Carusocontinues on with Nissan Motorsport and will steer with the official brand number, 23.

Caruso equalled his best championship finish in a Nissan last year, coming ho me 10th and achieving a number of highlights including the Hidden Valley victory and qualifying for the ARMOR ALL Top 10 Shootout at Bathurst for the first time in his Supercars career.

Caruso started out in karting at the age of 11, winning countless titles. He stepped up to Formula Ford and Formula 3 before turning his attention to V8 Supercars racing in 2004. He competed in the Development Series, finishing second in the 2007 title before moving to the main series with Garry Rogers Motorsport.

He earned his best ever Bathurst finish with the squad, landing on the podium teamed up with good friend Lee Holdsworth in 2009 and remained with the team until the opportunity with Nissan in the Car of the Future phase in 2013 in just his second season in the Altima, Caruso finished 10th in the championship – not only was he the highest placed of the four Nissan drivers, it was the first time the marque had finished in the top 10 in the new era of Supercars racing.

STEVE TODKILL - ENGINEER


Steven Todkill’ s passion for motorsport started in karts and has taken him all the way to the Supercars Championship. He completed his mechanical engineering degree at RMIT University before undertaking a leading role in the Formula SAE program in 2006-2007.

Todkill began working for Garry Rogers Motorsport in 2008, initially as a Data Engineer before being promoted to Race Engineer in 2010. It was there that Todkill and Michael Caruso first formed a partnership that has remained strong ever since.
